'Would Be Great To Buy Him Back': Spurs Boss Ange Postecoglou's Jovial Comment on Harry Kane
Spur's season so far speaks volumes to the rebuild and reinvention of Spurs that new boss Ange Postecoglou has inspired in the ranks, especially after losing out on talisman striker and Tottenham's all-time top-scorer Harry Kane in the offseason to Bayern Munich.

Who wouldn’t want to sign a world-class record-breaking striker? Well, Ange Postecoglou sure wouldn’t mind signing another one on, as the Spurs boss cracked a light-hearted comment on Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane in a presser.

Tottenham Hotspur have bounced back from their FA Cup defeat against Manchester City and have begun to find momentum again, with midfielder James Maddison finding his rhythm and striker Richarlison tapping into his best form so far netting 8 goals in his last 8 games in the Premier League.

Despite a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Everton, Spurs are undoubtedly on the up-and-up and can only be expected to get better with the return of an inspired Heung Min Son who is currently out on international duty for South Korea in the AFC Asian Cup.

This speaks volumes to the rebuild and reinvention of Spurs that new boss Ange Postecoglou has inspired in the ranks, especially after losing out on talisman striker and Tottenham’s all-time top-scorer Harry Kane in the offseason to Bayern Munich.

Kane has done more than well for himself at the Allianz, breaking records galore at will with his undeniable knack for finding the back of the net.

The Englishman has a gobsmacking 28 goals in just 27 appearances for Bayern, and has also racked up 8 assists along the way.

When asked on TNT Sports if Postecoglou could buy Kane back, the Australian laughed and said: “Well, it would be great if I could but the beauty of Harry is that everything he has done at this football club will remain forever.

“Even though Harry is not with us now, he will always be part of this football club.”

While it hurt Spurs to lose talisman Kane, they still managed to bag a whopping £82 million and used those funds to breath fresh life into Postecoglou’s side, who sit fourth in the Premier League table currently.

Kane has flourished in Bayern as well, and the Bavarians will be counting on him to carry his stellar form as they face off against league leaders Bayer Leverkusen next.
