Manchester: Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has refuted claims from striker Carlos Tevez that he treated the Argentine 'like a dog'.
In an interview prior to his return to Eastlands on Tuesday, the 28-year-old once again criticised the Italian boss, slamming his treatment of him during his time at City.
However, Mancini has since rubbished Tevez's comments, once again raising concerns as to whether the former West Ham man's return to first-team action is a viable prospect.
"I don't want to answer your question [on Tevez] because the game is more important than this," he said in his pre-match press conference ahead of Thursday's Europa League clash with Porto.
"But I answer this question and then no more, because we have this game. It is an important game against a top club like Porto."
"I totally disagree with Carlos, what he said, because I never treated him badly. Maybe the opposite, I treated him too well, always."
