Real Madrid have been very vocal attempting to sign Welshman Gareth Bale from Tottenham Hotspurs, but Portuguese manager at White Hart Lane, Andre Villas-Boas, has laid to rest any such speculations insisting that the FWA Footballer of the Year will be at Tottenham next season.
As per a report of Press Association published in lwww.dailymail.co.uk and www.guardian.co.uk, the Tottenham manager stated that the club has the pledge of Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy, that he will not let go of Bale from North London.
"We have the pledge of the chairman that Bale is not going to leave the club," the Tottenham manager is quoted as saying in the Madrid-based newspaper Marca as per the reports.
Real Madrid's ambassador Zinadine Zidane had spoken highly of the 23-year-old winger who scored 31 goals for club and country last season. Tottenham's another star performer Luka Modric was plucked away by Real Madrid last year, but this time around it seems the North Londoners are not going to budge.
