Kangana's sense of style is taking centre stage as she keeps up her promotional work for her new movie.

Kangana Ranaut is on a promotional spree for her upcoming film, Emergency. In the film, she will be seen portraying the role of Indira Gandhi. Besides, it also marks the directorial debut of the actress. As she continues to indulge in promotional campaigning for the film, her sartorial prowess is hogging the limelight for all the right reasons. Taking her fashion game a notch higher, Kangana truly impressed us all with her latest looks, in which she wore a floral saree with a checkered blouse for one of the promotional events.

Embracing retro charm, Kangana Ranaut was dressed to impress in the nine yards and blouse set that she picked from the shelves of the clothing label Pero. As we take a closer look, we notice a pink and green-hued rose flower pattern crafted on an ivory base. Further, the drape also came with a checkered pattern on the borders to complement the blouse that she wore to complete her ensemble. As for the blouse detailing, it featured a collared neckline, faux breast pockets, front button closures and quarter-length sleeves with folded cuffs, giving it a formal twist. The cropped hem and fitted silhouette added a modern touch. Kangana wore the saree in traditional style, letting her pallu cascade down her shoulder freely.

Flaunting her on-point accessories game, Kangana Ranaut elevated the appeal of her look with statement rings and pearl-encrusted gold earrings for a hint of blingy elements to her look. Even with her makeup, she chose not to go overboard and flaunt her natural beauty. Her minimal makeup, characterised by a wash of pink eye shadow, rouged cheeks, mascara-adorned lashes, nude pink lip shade, drawn brows and a dewy base, perfectly brought the glam factor to her look. For her hair styling, she decided to stick to the retro theme and tied her tresses in a side-parted coiffed bun for the finishing touches.

Emergency is a period-political drama based on the 1975 Emergency imposed by then-Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Apart from Kangana Ranaut, the film will also see Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Milind Soman, Vishak Nair and late actor Satish Kaushik playing the roles of Jayaprakash Narayan, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, Sanjay Gandhi and Jagjivan Ram respectively.
