Devoleena Bhattacharjee Says Pregnancy Rumours Do Not Bother Her Husband: 'I Don't Let It...' | Exclusive
Devoleena Bhattacharjee opens up on rumours about her personal life, reveals why she does not share personal information online.

Devoleena Bhattacharjee’s pregnancy rumours made headlines recently following which the actress penned down a strong note on social media and asked everyone not to interfere in her personal life. Now, in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Devoleena has said that such rumours about her personal life do not bother her or her husband, Shanwaz Shaikh.

“No no, it never bothers me. I don’t let it reach me to that extent. I ensure to put an end to it before it reaches my husband or family,” she told us.

The 38-year-old actress further shared that with the increase in usage of social media, people feel they can write anything and everything and can get away with it. She urged everyone not to bother her with calls or messages asking for information about her personal life and stated that if there is anything to share, she will do it when the time comes.

“If you talk about fans or any random people, they write anything. They do it. They’ll write things to judge or troll you. I get irritated when I get messages or calls asking about rumours. If it is my personal life, I’ll tell you whenever I feel like it. Don’t bother me or don’t worry about it. Everything has the right time. There are so many rumours about me which I laugh at. I was shocked. There’s nothing one can do about it,” she said.

Devoleena, who is currently seen in Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya, expressed that one needs to draw a line as far as sharing personal information online is considered. She explained the same citing the increase in paparazzi culture and said, “Definitely one can draw a line. Paparazzi don’t go on their own. Your PRs call them and that’s why they are there. First, you call them and then you ask them not to follow. That’s not fair. Even my PR tells me the same but I am like, what can we do? Airport looks? Being snapped outside a restaurant? No, I don’t want to do this. If there is something related to my work, I’ll definitely do it. Actors have only started this paparazzi culture.”

“For me, it is very simple, I have not done this ever and I will not do it. Whenever I feel I am not comfortable sharing something personal, I avoid it,” the actress concluded.
