The registration process for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board, WBJEEB will conclude today, February 5. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in by today.

To apply for WBJEE 2024, applicants must have passed class 12 or equivalent examination as a regular student on or before 2024. They must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2024. However, the maximum age limit for the Marine Engineering degree course is 25 years as of December 31, 2024.

For candidates who successfully apply for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board, the link to the correction window will also be activated later. The correction window will open on February 7 and end on February 9, 2024. Admit cards for appearing in the examination can be downloaded from April 18. The written examination will be held on April 28.

WBJEE 2024: How to Apply

To apply online, candidates can follow the steps given below:

Step 1 – First of all visit the official website of WBJEE at wbjeeb.nic.in.

Step 2 – Click on the registration link of WBJEE 2024 available here on the home page.

Step 3 – Register yourself and log in.

Step 4 – Fill out the application form.

Step 5 – Pay the application fee.

Step 6 – Click on submit and download the page.

Step 7 – Keep a hard copy of it with you for further need.

WBJEE 2024: Application fees

Applicants falling under the general category must pay an application fee of Rs 500. On the other hand, for those from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Class (OBC) groups the registration fee is set at Rs 400. However, any female applicants who belong to SC, ST, OBC-A, OBCB, EWS, TFW, or third-gender categories must pay an application fee of Rs 300.

The written examination will be conducted in two shifts on April 28, 2024. The first shift exam will be held from 11 am to 1 pm and the second shift exam will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm. The exam will be held in pen-and-paper mode in two sessions. The question paper will consist of 155 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
