RRC Railway Recruitment 2024: Application Begins For 2,424 Apprentice Posts at rrccr.com

The Central Railway has invited applications for 2,424 apprentice posts. Candidates can apply online through the official website of Railway Recruitment Cell, Central Railway at rrccr.com. The recruitment process began on July 16 and will continue till August 15 at 5 pm.

According to the official notification, the posts for Fitter, Welder, Carpenter, Painter, Tailor, Electrician, Machinist, Programming & Systems Administration Assistant, Mechanic Diesel, Turner, Laboratory Assistant, Mechanic Machine Tools Maintenance, Programming & Systems Administration Assistant, Information Technology & Electronic System Maintenance and Computer Operator & Prog Assistant will be available in areas like Mumbai, Cluster Bhusawal, Pune, Nagpur and Solapur.

RRC Railway Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must have passed the Class 10th examination or their equivalent with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and should hold a National Trade Certificate.

Candidates must be between 15 and 24 years old as of 15-7-2024. The upper age limit is relaxable by five years in the case of SC, and ST candidates and three years in the case of OBC candidates.

RRC Railway Recruitment 2024: Application Fees

The application fee for the General, EWS, and OBC candidates is Rs 100. Fee payment will have to be made online through the payment gateway which will be available as a part of the online application process. The payment can be made using a debit card/credit card/Internet Banking / SBI Challan etc. by providing all the necessary information. No fees will be charged from the SC/ST/PWD and female candidates.

RRC Railway Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be done based on the merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification. The list will be prepared based on percentage of marks in matriculation (with a minimum 50 per cent aggregate marks) along with ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
