The result for the NEET UG 2024 was released on June 5. A total of 23 lakh students registered for the entrance exam. Among them were 13 lakh female students and 10 lakh male students. The number of successful candidates is 13 lakh. This year, the NEET UG exam produced a total of 67 toppers across India.
The NEET UG 2024 result was published by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Gaurav Agarwal achieved the title of topper from Chhattisgarh. Gaurav is a resident of Janjgir Naila, Chhattisgarh, who scored 711 out of 720 marks in the exam. The marks obtained by him helped him receive the All India rank of 341. According to Gaurav Agarwal, his hard work and dedication to crack the entrance exam made him successful in the journey to the NEET UG 2024.
As Gaurav expressed, he had begun preparing for the exam after successfully passing the 10th exam. He prepared the syllabus by studying online for the last two years. Along with the preparation for NEET UG, Gaurav also studied biology in the 11th and 12th grades of school. Gaurav shared that he received 62 per cent of marks in the 12th board exams under the Chhattisgarh board. He also obtained 94 per cent marks in the CBSE board exams in 10th grade.
Gaurav Agarwal shared how he completed his journey at NEET UG. As per his words, Gaurav used to study for 7 to 8 hours every day to prepare his subjects. He used to study the subjects, keeping topics in mind. His schedule was not divided in terms of time. Gaurav would completely prepare the topics before finishing the study sessions every day. According to Gaurav, he stayed away from social media throughout his preparation to avoid distractions. Gaurav utilised his time in a precise and measured way to complete his daily study goals each day. He did not even indulge in unnecessary chatting in this phase.
According to Gaurav, his teachers helped him immensely to achieve this feat. He used to call his teachers to consult about the topics and solutions. Apart from his supporting teachers, his parents supported him for the NEET UG exam. Gaurav Agarwal topped the exam with the help of his parents and teachers.
Gaurav shared his advice for the next year’s aspirants. He advised the students to study with a target and not focus on negativity. He also added that students should understand their study paragraphs and make corrections accordingly instead of blindly following any topper.
Gaurav Agarwal’s father, Deepak Agarwal, is a businessman. He aspires to follow his grandfather’s unfulfilled dream of becoming a doctor.
