JKCET 2024 results out. Qualified candidates will take part in the online counselling procedure for seat allocation in engineering courses.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released the JKCET 2024 results on the official website at jkbopee.gov.in. The state-level Common Entrance Test (CET) took place on June 9. The answer key was issued on June 10. Krishna Arun Magotra has topped the exam by securing a total score of 112.75. He is followed by Suryansh Sumbria who secured rank 2 with a score of 95 and Malvika Blowria who got rank 3 by scoring 93.75.

The scores of the exam are used to admit students to undergraduate engineering programmes at various government and private institutions in Jammu and Kashmir. Qualified candidates will take part in the online counselling procedure for seat allocation in engineering courses. Counselling will be done in several rounds, with a mop-up round if necessary to fill any open seats.

JKCET 2024 Result: How To Check?

Step 1: Go to the official website of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations at jkbopee.gov.in

Step 2: Locate the JKCET 2024 result link on the notice board column on the website and click on it

Step 3: Enter the required credentials such as application number and date of birth

Step 4: The results will appear on the screen. Download and save for further use.

The JKCET 2024 consisted of three sections: physics, chemistry, and mathematics, each with 180 multiple-choice questions worth one mark. The exam was held offline for three hours. To calculate their JKCET 2024 exam scores, students must add up their correct and incorrect answers.  According to the exam pattern, applicants receive one mark for each valid response and a 0.25-mark penalty for each erroneous answer.

Students who have passed or cleared their class 12 exam from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with at least 45 per cent marks are eligible for JKCET. There is no upper age requirement to register for JKCET 2023. Students who appeared for their intermediate exams this year were also eligible to apply however they must keep in mind that during the time of the JKCET 2024 counselling process, they will have to produce the original pass certificate.
