The National Testing Agency is expected to release the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Session 2 result for 2024 by the third week of April. As per media reports, the scorecards will be out by April 25. The JEE Main Session 2 was conducted from April 4 to April 9, 2024, across 319 cities nationwide. The JEE Main provisional answer key was released by the National Testing Agency on April 12. Based on the objections raised by the aspirants against the provisional answer key, the JEE Main final answer key 2024 and the result will be prepared. The toppers list will also be announced along with the results.
According to the official schedule, the JEE Main result is scheduled to be published by the NTA on April 25. However, there has been no official announcement yet regarding the result date. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in or nta.nic.in for the latest updates on the NTA JEE Main 2024 result. Furthermore, it is to be noted that following the release of the scorecard, the results will be available until July 31, 2024.
“The result of JEE (Main) 2024 of the candidate(s) who indulge in unfair means of practice will be cancelled and will not be released. Similarly, the results of those candidates who appear from the Centre other than the one allotted to them or allow another candidate/person to write the examination on his behalf will be cancelled. No plea will be entertained in this regard,” read the official notification by NTA.
JEE Main 2024 Result: Steps To Check
Step 1: Visit the official website of JEE Main at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2024.
Step 2: Search for and click on the link that reads, “JEE Main 2024 Result” or ‘View score card’ on the homepage.
Step 3: Upon clicking, candidates will be directed to the result page, where they have to enter their JEE Main application number, date of birth, and a security pin.
Step 4: Click on Submit and the NTA JEE Main result 2024 along with scores will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Now, check the qualifying cut-off marks and your rank on the scorecard and save a copy of it.
Step 6: Take a print out of the result page for future reference.
Meanwhile, the JEE Main Result 2024 for Session 1 was declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on February 12.
It is to be noted that the NTA normalises the raw JEE Main scores obtained by the JEE aspirants. The percentile score specifies the percentage of students who scored equal to or lower than a particular student’s score. JEE Main 2024 toppers are chosen according to the NTA scores, or normalised marks.
