IIT Dhanbad Offers Maximum Salary Package Of Rs 51 Lakh, Reveals Placement Report

One such IIT that is getting all the limelight for its placement is the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Dhanbad.

Today, we are going to talk about the placements at IIT ISM Dhanbad, where students have passed out with amazing packages every year. The placement results were excellent for the students lately. According to the information given in the placement section of IIT Dhanbad’s official website, it has been found that, as of January 3, around 628 students of BTech – who belong to the 2024 batch – have received job offers in placement.

The placement record is not just limited to the final-year students. Around 253 students who will be passing out from the 2025 batch have also been able to receive internship offers from some of the biggest organisations. It has been found that the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has also given internships to students from IIT Dhanbad. The DRDO placement was done through offline offers.

High packages have been offered to students during the placements. According to the information, an average package of Rs 19.44 lakh has been offered to the students in the placements so far. The maximum package received was Rs 51 lakh. For the internships, the stipends that were offered to the students ranged from Rs 15,000 to Rs 2 lakh.
