IGNOU JAT 2023: According to the official notice, the second phase written examination for Junior Assistant-cum-Typist (JAT) will be conducted on January 31, 2024

IGNOU JAT 2023: National Testing Agency, NTA has released the exam date for the second phase of IGNOU JAT 2023. Official information for this has been released on the official website of NTA, nta.ac.in. The examination will be conducted only in the exam centre of Delhi. Hence, candidates applying for the exam from other states must book their to and fro tickets in advance. A notice has been issued in this regard.

According to the official notice, the second phase written examination for Junior Assistant-cum-Typist (JAT) will be conducted on January 31, 2024. Information about the exam date, time/shift, exam centre, exam instructions etc. will be available on the admit card. Admit cards will be issued three days before the examination.

IGNOU JAT 2023: How to download the second stage exam notice

Step 1 –  First of all you have to go to the official website of NTA, nta.ac.in.

Step 2 – Click on IGNOU JAT 2023 Second Stage Exam Date Information available on the home page here.

Step 3 – A new PDF file will open where candidates can check the date.

Step 4 – Download the page and keep a hard copy of it for further need.

The second phase written examination for Junior Assistant-cum-Typist (JAT) of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will be of qualifying nature. In this, general category candidates will have to obtain 60 per cent marks, EWS and OBC category will have to obtain 55 per cent marks while SC, ST, and PWD candidates will have to obtain 50 per cent marks.

Meanwhile, University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar launched a four-year undergraduate programme at the Indira Gandhi National University (IGNOU). This comprehensive programme offered by the IGNOU will provide a four-year curriculum in various disciplines and will be delivered through online and distance learning, the chairman said. This initiative is also accessible through the Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) portal. The national seminar was chaired by IGNOU vice-chancellor Nageshwar Rao.
