The Institute of Banking Personnel and Selection (IBPS) has released the clerk exam results 2023. It has declared the provisional seat allotment list on the official website at ibps.in. Candidates who took the clerk recruitment preliminary and mains exam can now check the results available in the pdf format on the website by using their registration number and password.
The IBPS clerk prelims examination was held on August 26, 27, and September 2. The mains exam took place on October 7. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 4545 vacancies in the organisation. Candidates may download the provisional allotment list by January 28.
IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2023: How to Check Provisional Allotment List
Step 1 – Visit the official website — ibps.in.
Step 2 – Click on the provisional allotment list on the homepage.
Step 3 – Now log in using the required details including application ID and date of birth
Step 4 – View pdf will open on the screen.
Step 5 – Save and download the page for future reference and take a print out for further use.
“Depending on the vacancies to be filled in during the financial year 2023-24 based on the business needs of the Participating Banks and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the Participating Banks keeping in view the spirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy, administrative convenience, etc. The validity for CRP Clerks-XII will automatically expire at the close of business on 31.03.2024 with or without giving any notice,” read the official notice by the institute.
The IBPS mains exam consists of 200 marks and is held for 2 hours 40 minutes. The IBPS Clerk mains exam syllabus is divided into four sections. This includes reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English language, and computer knowledge, and general awareness. Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for every correct answer while 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. The exam will comprise a total of 190 questions which include 50 from reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and general awareness and 40 questions from the English language.
