The Ministry of Home Affairs has published the IB JIO Final Result 2023 of the written examinations, Skill Test, and Interview for the 797 posts of Intelligence Bureau (IB) Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO) Cadre-II. Candidates who appeared in the Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO) recruitment process can go to the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs at mha.gov.in and check their results.
The IB JIO final result has been designed based on a combination of performance in Tier-I written exam conducted on July 22, 2023, and the Tier-II/III test i.e. Skill Test and Interview held from November 8 – November 30, 2023.
“Candidates marked OBC/SC/ST/EWS in the list of Unreserved/UR candidates have qualified on their merit without availing age relaxations of reserved category. Roll numbers marked with (P) indicate that the candidature of these candidates has been kept Provisional for want of one or more documents/information required at the time of Document Verification before the Skill Test & Interview. Such candidates are required to furnish the requisite information/document at the earliest/at the time of joining,” reads the official notice by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The result announcement further states that mere qualifying in the scheme of examination does not provide any right to the candidate to claim his or her candidature for the post. The final selection is further subject to the successful completion of character and Antecedents’ verification, a medical examination, etc.
IB JIO Final Result 2023: Here’s How to check
Step 1: Candidates need to go to the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs atmha.gov.into check the result.
Step 2: Then, look for and click on the “what’s new” section available on the webpage.
Step 3: Candidates will find a link to IB Junior Intelligence Officers Final Result 2023 at the top of the site’s home page.
Step 4: Once you click on the link, your IB JIO Final Result PDF will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Review the IB JIO result and check for your roll number in the list.
Step 6: Download the document and save a hard copy of the IB Junior Intelligence Officers final result for future records.
Candidates who are appointed as Junior Intelligence Officers can expect a salary in the grade pay Level-4, which has a pay range of Rs 25,500 – Rs 81,100.
