The Indian Institute of Sciences (IIS), Bangalore, is all set to start the GATE 2024 exams on February 3, 2024. The institute recently announced the examination date for GATE 2024. As per the schedule, the exam will be conducted on February 3, February 4, February 10, and February 11. Students who are appearing for the exam can check the complete exam schedule for GATE 2024 on the official website of the Indian Institute of Sciences at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
It is to be noted that the GATE 2024 exams will be held for a duration of three hours in two shifts. The first shift will be held in the morning session from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and the second session will start at 2:30 PM and end at 5:30 PM. Candidates should download the admit card for the GATE 2024 exam through the institute’s official website before February 2, 2024. Students have to key in their enrollment ID/email address, and password on the web page to download the GATE 2024 admit card.

The GATE 2024 will be held online, and students can check the branch-wise schedule provided below. It is to be noted by the candidates that Civil Engineering, Computer Science, and Information Technology will be multi-session papers.

GATE 2024: Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates who are going to appear for the GATE 2024 exams must read through the instructions carefully provided on the admit card.
1. It is mandatory for candidates to carry the GATE 2024 admit card to the examination hall.
2. Students are also required to carry a valid ID card (Aadhar card, driving licence, PAN card, etc.) with them along with the GATE 2024 admit card.
3. Students must also check the details regarding the exam schedule, subject, shift timing, and others mentioned on the admit card.
4. Candidates are advised to reach the examination hall at least an hour before the exam starts.
