The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conclude the registration process for the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate courses (CUET UG) 2024 today, March 26 at 11:50 pm. Candidates can access and apply the application form through the official website at cuet.samarth.ac.in.
As per the official notice released earlier, the NTA will conduct the CUET UG 2024 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from May 15 to 31. The detailed schedule will be released in due course of time. The exam will be held in hybrid mode. Through this facility, candidates from rural areas will be able to take the exam close to home. It will be conducted in three shifts — 9 am to 11 am, 12.30 pm to 2 pm, and 4 pm to 5.30 pm.
CUET UG 2024: Educational Qualification
To be eligible to participate in the CUET UG 2024, candidates must have completed their class 12 level of study or are preparing for upcoming class 12 exams in 2024. To qualify for CUET, general category applicants need to have achieved a minimum of 50 percent marks in their Class 12 examination and 45 percent for the Scheduled Caste (SC), and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories.

CUET UG 2024: How to Apply?
Step 1: Navigate to the official website — exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.
Step 2: Select the CUET 2024 registration link that is available on the homepage.
Step 3: Fill out the information requested on a new page to sign up.
Step 4: Complete the form online, pay the registration fee and submit the form.
Step 5: Print a copy of the submitted form for your records.

This year, candidates will be able to choose six subjects, unlike last year when candidates were allowed to choose 10 subjects. The exam will be held online in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Assamese, Odia, Malayalam, Kannada, and Urdu. Over 250 universities, including central, state, private, and deemed institutions, will accept candidates based on their performance in the CUET UG examination.
