Sri Lanka beat New Zealand by an innings and 154 runs margin in the second and final Test of the ongoing two-match series to win the red-ball series in front of home fans by a 2-0 margin. The Dhananjaya de Silva-led side dismissed the Kiwis for 360 runs in the second innings on Sunday (September 29) after bowling them out for 88 runs in the first innings of the match played at Galle International Stadium in Galle.
Debutant Nishan Peiris picked up wickets for 170 runs in the second innings to seal his side’s memorable win.
