Mayank Agarwal led India A team beat Ruturaj Gaikwad’s India C by 132 runs in Anantapur on Sunday (September 22) to win the 2024 edition of the Duleep Trophy. Many high-profile Indian players took part in the prestigious domestic tournament, and quite a few of them even managed to make a big impact as well.
The likes of Ishan Kishan, Sanju Samson, and Gaikwad scored big runs, but India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav wasn’t able to do much in the only match he played for India B against India D in Anantapur.
In addition to him, Shreyas Iyer also struggled with consistency, which has now further dented his chances of making a comeback in the Indian team for the upcoming Test series against New Zealand and Australia.
