Ahead of the second Test, scheduled to start on February 2, Kuldeep was spotted paying a visit to a temple in Visakhapatnam.

With the Visakhapatnam pitch expected to assist the spinners in the second Test, Team India may think about including Kuldeep Yadav in the playing XI against England. India skipper Rohit Sharma could not rely much on Mohammed Siraj in the series opener due to the condition of the pitch and instead focused on Jasprit Bumrah and the spin triumvirate of Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel in Hyderabad.

Kuldeep has so far featured in eight Tests for India and the 29-year-old Chinaman can very well prove to be a trump card for the hosts in the second match against England. Ahead of the second Test, scheduled to start on February 2, Kuldeep was spotted paying a visit to a temple in Visakhapatnam.

Having played eight Tests so far, Kuldeep Yadav has 34 wickets under his belt in this format. Kuldeep made his Test debut against Australia in 2017. The left-arm wrist spinner has an economy of 3.43 in Tests. Kuldeep had last played a Test match against Bangladesh in December 2022.

With Team India currently trailing in the Test series against England, Kuldeep Yadav’s return to the playing XI can very well turn out to be a masterstroke. Rohit Sharma’s men had to concede a 28-run defeat in the Test series opener. Making his Test debut in that game, English spinner Tom Hartley picked up seven wickets in the second innings against India.
