India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has returned to the Chennai Super Kings camp having finished national duty. The veteran player was crucial for India in their five-match Test series against England that concluded recently.
Jadeja broke a few records in that bout while also helping the host side bag the series 4-1. Days after the end of the final Test match at Dharamshala, CSK have now shared a photograph of their superstar returning to his franchise on X.
In the image, Jadeja can be seen rocking his signature shades, a checkered shirt and a pair of rugged jeans as he walks. The veteran also has a wide grin in the photograph, showing his happiness in returning to the franchise. “RaJa here to conquer!” CSK wrote in their post.

Ravindra Jadeja had an impactful showing against England while playing at home. In the opening Test in Hyderabad, Jadeja scored a total of 82 runs in the two innings while scalping five wickets for India. However, his heroics were all but in vain as England recovered the game by making a solid comeback. Jadeja had to sit out the second Test in Visakhapatnam, having sustained a hamstring injury in the opener.
The third match in Rajkot saw Ravindra Jadeja make a solid comeback. In India’s first innings of the game, the veteran all-rounder added 112 runs on the board which saw him join the likes of Ravichandran Ashwin and Kapil Dev in an exclusive list. Jadeja’s stunning innings made him only the third Indian player in history to amass more than 3000 runs and 250 wickets in Test cricket. He added seven more wickets in the remaining two Tests, helping India seal the series.

Speaking of his time at CSK, Ravindra Jadeja has played 172 games with the Indian franchise from 2012 to 2023. In those games, the all-rounder has scored over 1627 runs for Chennai while scalping 134 wickets. He has won three IPL trophies with the franchise in 2018, 2021 and 2023. He played a crucial role in their latest title triumph against the Gujarat Titans last year at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
After a close game in the final, CSK needed 10 runs off two balls to secure the win. The odds were completely against them but Jadeja did the unthinkable, smashing a six followed by a boundary against the ex-CSK man Mohit Sharma to seal the fifth title for CSK.
