One shop in the district has started selling new types of firecrackers this year to attract children.

The festival of lights, Diwali, is almost here. People are busy shopping in the markets. The day is considered one of the most important festivals celebrated by Hindus. The celebration of Diwali is incomplete without fire-crackers, as it adds more fun and excitement in the day. This year, Diwali is going to be celebrated on November 12. From now on, the sale of firecrackers has started in all areas. In the Viluppuram district of Tamil Nadu, one shop has started selling new types of firecrackers this year to attract children celebrating Diwali, which is currently garnering everyone’s attention. Let’s take a look at the new firecrackers sold by him this year.

According to reports, the name of the shop is CMR Firecracker, located on the KK road in Viluppuram District. This year, the shop owner has been selling firecrackers like Lion, Duck, Chocolate, Kinder Joy, Dairy Milk, Milky Bar, Barbie, Shinchan, Spider-Man, Cricket Ball, Mad Angles, and Ravana. He is also offering a package deal — where he will sell these in a suitcase. These suitcases are priced between 4,000 and 10,000 rupees.

The shop owner, in a recent media interaction, said that this year, crackers of different types are being sold; and the main purpose is to attract customers.

Diwali is eagerly anticipated by almost everyone in India. It is celebrated on the 15th day of the Hindu luni-solar month of Kartik. Diwali is intrinsically associated with themes of happiness, wealth, prosperity, and warmth.

As per mythology, Diwali is celebrated for Lord Rama, when he returned to his homeland of Ayodhya after 14 years in exile, during which he defeated the formidable King Ravana of Lanka.
