Kunal Kemmu, Nora Fatehi and Team Madgaon Express Enjoy a Lavish Iftar Party In Mumbai; Video Goes Viral
Released on March 22, Madgaon Express is Kunal Kemmu's directorial debut.

Kunal Kemmu is currently enjoying the success of his directorial debut, Madgaon Express. Recently, the actor was snapped enjoying a lavish iftar party in Mumbai when he was also joined by his Madgaon Express team. In a video that surfaced on social media, Kunal was seen enjoying mouthwatering delicacies with Nora Fatehi, Divyendu, Avinash Tiwari and Pratik Gandhi. They were also joined by the producer of the film, Ritesh Sidhwani.

Released on March 22, Madgaon Express revolves around three friends who go on a vacation to Goa, only to find their epic vacation plan turns into a nightmare. Despite facing competition at the box office by Randeep Hooda’s Swatantra Veer Savarkar, the film has managed to cross Rs 12 crore mark in India as of now.

Earlier this week, Kunal Kemmu also shared a series of behind-the-scenes pictures from Madgaon Express sets and expressed gratitude towards all for showering love on his directorial debut. “From day 1 of shoot to the day I said the last pack up on the sets of Madgoan Express. Each day has been so special in so many ways. And I couldn’t have done it without my amazing team of actors and technicians. To the many colours of friendship that the film showcases and the many colours of my own personality that I got to explore through this film. I wish you all a very happy Holi and thank you so much for all the love that you have shown to our film,” he wrote.

News18 Showsha gave the film a 4-star rating and wrote, “Madgaon Express is something that we’ve never seen before and thank god for that. In fact, it’s even tough to slot it into a certain genre. The film is whacky, loud and chaotic and unapologetically revels in its own eccentricities.”

“The characters are all oddballs and you wouldn’t want to encounter most of them in real life. It almost feels like Kunal chose to tell a tale without adhering to any set structures of storytelling and yet there’s a method to the madness. It’s so all over the place and such an incredible hodgepodge of so many things that you can’t help but burst out into peals of laughter every now and then, and that’s Madgaon Express’ biggest win,” the review added.
