Amitabh Bachchan Greets PM Modi With Folded Hands During Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha; Pic Goes Viral

On a momentous occasion for all devotees of Lord Ram, the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the deity is taking place at Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir on Monday, January 22. As such, renowned personalities from the film industry have reached Ayodhya to witness the inauguration of the Ram Mandir. Among them was also Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Amid the flurry of pictures and videos on social, one particular picture featuring Big B and Abhishek Bachchan greeting Narendra Modi has gone viral.

The collage of three pictures was shared by popular paparazzo handle Viral Bhayani and it captured Amitabh Bachchan greeting Narendra Modi with folded hands during Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya. The pictures indicate that the two of them interacted briefly since Amitabh Bachchan had a wide smile on his face. Accompanying his father was also Abhisek Bachchan who stood right next to Amitabh Bachchan.

Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan landed in Ayodhya for the Ram Mandir inauguration and were welcomed by a mob of fans. In a video shared on Instagram, Amitabh and Abhishek were seen walking out of the airport when a massive crowd of people surrounded them to get a glimpse of the duo. Abhishek safely escorted Amitabh to his car before he made his way into his car.

In another video shared by ANI, Amitabh and Abhishek were seen making their way to their seats. Abhishek was seen greeting fellow attendees with folded hands while he helped Amitabh to his seat.

For the ceremony, Big B was seen posing in a while kurta-pyjama with a jacket as he walked towards the airport. Abhishek also sported traditional outfits.

A few stars landed in Ayodhya over the weekend. These include Anupam Kher and Kangana Ranaut. From the South film industries, Rajinikanth was among the first stars to reach Ayodhya. The cameras in Hyderabad spotted Chiranjeevi making his way to the Ayodhya with his son, actor Ram Charan. Other stars attending the grand ceremony include Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Rohit Shetty, Madhuri Dixit, her husband Dr Shriram Nene and Ayushmann Khurrana. Videos of their arrival also surfaced online and has caught fans’ attention.

As part of the ceremony, the idol of Lord Ram Lalla is going to be installed at the Ram Temple after the consecration ceremony on Monday. The construction work of the temple is almost complete, several photos from the temple venue have already begun going viral.
