Mahindra XUV 3XO to Take Complete EV Route, Spotted First Time Testing in India
As per the leaks, the model carries the same style statement as the ICE version, featuring the identical LED headlight setup, paired with integrated split DRLs.

Ever since the tech-loaded XUV 3XO was launched in India, the model created a buzz in the mid-size SUV segment. After seeing the response from the customers, Mahindra is likely to introduce its electric avatar. The launch date is not known yet. However, the EV has been spotted during the testing phase in India.

Despite being partially covered with camouflage, the upcoming XUV 3XO EV has revealed some of the important details and key features.

Here’s What Leaks Say

As per the leaks, it seems like the model will carry the same style statement as the ICE version, featuring the identical LED headlight setup, paired with integrated split DRLs. However, some noticeable cosmetic changes from both inside and outside are expected.

Overall Design

The front grill and side profile are likely to remain the same. The model is likely to flaunt an EV badging at the rear, which will allow the customers to differentiate between battery-powered and ICE models.

The vehicle is also expected to get the latest alloy wheels as seen in the leaked photos. Some reports suggested that the company might offer the vehicle in exclusive colour options. To note, it is just a speculation, a concrete detail about the same is yet to be shared by the company.

Battery, Range and Rivals

Spec-related details are under wrap as yet. However, some reports suggested that the EV is likely to use a 35kWh battery pack, smaller compared to the XUV400 EV which is powered by 40kWh, generating a maximum power of 148 bhp and 310 Nm of torque.

When it comes to the XUV 3XO EV, it is expected to produce less power and range compared to its bigger sibling. As far as the rivals are concerned, the XUV 3XO EV will compete against Tata’s hot-selling product Nexon EV and the newly launched Citroen’s Basalt.
