The world is slowly inching towards normalcy after a challenging 2020 and the airline industry is pulling no stops to get some of its lost sheen back. Airline companies do everything to bring luxury on a plane right from food, refreshments and entertainment. The one thing that is a feature in business class is flat beds. Now, JetBlue Airways has gone a step ahead and wants to debut one of the largest beds in the sky within a few months.
These new beds will debut when the New York-based carrier starts flying its new A321neos from Boston and the home base to London. According to a CNN Travel report, the aircraft’s new Mint Studio is touted as a game-changer for business class travel. The new offering will consist of two mini-rooms at the front of its new aircraft. Each of them will be fitted with a comfortable seat that turns into a flatbed, with a privacy door and a sofa seat.
The new design houses 22 mini suites, which will be equally comfortable, minus the adjoining sofa feature. And in all probability, JetBlue will be pricing for these new offerings in the affordable range.

Additionally, these revolutionary seats on the new aircraft will include mood lighting three types of power outlets at each seat (including USB-C, USB-A, and AC power ports). Other features will be space to use a tablet while enjoying a meal or snack.
After years of mock-ups of seat and cabin designs to figure out the best shapes, JetBlue has come up with new beds. The new seat iterations are now being readied to pass the stringent tests so that it can be safely installed on an aircraft.
