Indian Motorcycles has officially commenced bookings for the new Indian Scout Bobber which was recently launched by the American motorcycle brand. The bike can be booked at any Indian dealership across India at a minimal amount of Rs 50,000. International deliveries of the bike are scheduled for September, so, it is expected that the bike will hit the Indian roads by early October. The new Scout Bobber is an updated version of its standard Scout motorcycle. The company calls it a ‘striped down version’. Powered by the same 1132cc, V-twin engine that churns out 100 bhp and 97 Nm of torque, the 2018 Scout Bobber is available in five colour options - Bronze Smoke, Indian Motorcycle Red, Star Silver Smoke, Thunder Black, and Thunder Black Smoke.
The new Scout Bobber gets new alloy wheels, low slung- brown leather seats and slotted black exhaust pipes that provide an aggressive stance to the bike. Along with knobby tyres and street tracker handlebar, the bike gets a blacked-out finish on most of its parts. The badge on the fuel tank is all-new and the handle gets smaller bar-end mirrors.
The company also offer a list of optional accessories with the bike such as saddle bags and pillion seat. The bike is expected to be priced around Rs 13.20 lakh – Rs 14 lakh. In India, the bike will compete with the likes of Triumph Bobber.
