Hyundai has also introduced a middle variant, and named it as Ioniq 5 N. It has been positioned between entry level and top-spec trim.

Hyundai Iconiq 5 is considered one of the most futuristic, and game-changer models in the EV segment. Now, the fully electric vehicle gets a facelifted avatar, featuring subtle cosmetic changes, and now is equipped with a bigger battery pack.

The model has been unveiled in the global market, which is likely to attract a lot of potential customers. To make it more accessible to all, the brand also has introduced a middle variant and named it Ioniq 5 N. It has been positioned between entry-level and top-spec trim.

Hyundai Iconiq 5 Facelift Major Updates

Talking about the changes first, the EV shares the same design elements as the ongoing version, which means customers will get identical front fascia, a similar LED headlight setup, square-shaped LED DRLs, and a massive bonnet.

Now, the Ioniq 5 features the 84 kw battery pack, generating more power and improved range, which will somehow kill the range anxiety among customers. However, the company has not shared the range-related details as yet. But, we expect it might offer somewhere around up to 485 km on a single charge, better than the ongoing model.

Bigger in Size

Another major change is the size. The EV now becomes bigger and better. It features a longer height and width, while the 3000 mm wheelbase remains the same.

Cabin Updates

Inside, Hyundai has made some changes in the updated model. The company has included more physical buttons inside the cabin for more usability and convenience. The wireless charging pad also has been re-positioned, along with some improvements in the touch-sensitive climate control panel.

Some of the notable features have been carried forward such as parking sensors at both ends, dual 12.3-inch digital screens, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, all wireless car connect tech including Android, Apple, and Auto CarPlay among others.
