Ford India Sales Reached 26,075 Vehicles in July
July domestic wholesales recorded 8,418 vehicles, as against 7,076 units, while exports grew to 17,657 vehicles compared to 10,666 units in July of last year.

Ford India’s combined domestic wholesales and exports in July reached 26,075 vehicles from 17,742 vehicles in the corresponding month last year.

“Despite the administrative challenges associated with the introduction of GST in July, Ford continues to grow faster than the industry. Going forward, while there will be short term administrative headwinds associated with GST and rising input costs, we believe a good monsoon, conductive financing rates and consumer confidence during the festival season will provide a good impetus for the industry.

Strengthening the senior leadership team, Ford announced the elevation of Vinay Raina as the new executive director of Marketing, Sales & Service. Lakshmi Ramkumar, in charge of dealer development, replaces Vinay as the new vice president, sales at Ford India. The wealth of experience brought forth by Vinay and Lakshmi will further strengthen Ford." said Anurag Mehrotra, Managing Director, Ford India.

Ford recently also launched Cartesy, a campaign encouraging drivers to be courteous and respectful to others on the road much like our day-to-day life. The campaign, which aims to highlight behavioural issues impacting safe driving, revealed how distracted driving is making our roads less safe.
