Copying designs is common practice for Chinese brands. Recently a Chinese automobile manufacturer, Hanway, copied the designs of the Royal Enfield Himalayan and will launch it as the G30 in the domestic market. Two trims of G30 will be launched by the company that is standard and the G30-X variant. The vehicle looks the same as the Royal Enfield Himalayan and features a rounded headlight, a raised transparent windscreen, spoked wheels, according to a report.
This is not the first time when a bike has been copied and launched in China. In the past, they have copied motorcycles like the Bajaj Pulsar RS200, KTM 390 Duke, Yamaha YZF-R15, etc.
Know about the G30 motorcycle here:Design: The model comes with a twin-pod LCD instrument cluster and runs on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels that are wrapped in dual-purpose tires. The shape of the fuel tank is similar to teardrop and sits on a duplex split double-cradle chassis.
Engine: The bike is powered by a 249.2cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine and has a 19-litre fuel tank. The engine of the bike generates 26hp of power at 9,000 rpm and 22Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. A top speed of 128kmph can be achieved by the model and delivers a mileage of 32.2km/l.
However, talking about the Himalayan, it can hold 14 litres of fuel.
Features: The bike comes with a stepped-up seat, a smartphone charging port, a rounded LED headlamp, a raised windshield, among others. The Hanway G30 is equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels to ensure the safety of the rider and also has dual-channel ABS which will enable better handling on the roads. The bike also offers 35mm telescopic forks on the front side and a mono-shock unit on the rear end.

Optional tubeless wire-spoked rims are also offered with the bike by Hanway. However, it is not available with the Himalayan. Talking about the tyres of the G30, it is 19 inch in front and 17 inches in the rear.
Price: The variant will cost CNY 17,280 which is almost equal to Rs 1.92 lakh. However, the price tag attached with Royal Enfield Himalayan is Rs. 2.01 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi.
