Team India wicket-keeper-batsman Rishabh Pant showed his outstanding run with the bat and keeping wickets in the recently concluded Test series against England. Pant who played a stunning 101-run innings in the fourth and final Test against the visitors at Motera, earned him the Man of the Match award.

While he top scored for the home side, Pant also kept everyone entertained with his chatter and stump-mic commentary. The 23-year-old produced many gems that were captured during the bilateral Test series. However, during the post-match presentation after the fourth Test, when the cricketer was asked about his chatter antics while performing wicket keeping duty by renowned commentator Harsha Bhogle, the southpaw came up with a hilarious response that has left everyone in splits.
As Bhogle pointed out to Pant that his behind the stumps chatter has created a buzz online and fans only want to listen to him, the Indian match hero came up with a tongue-in-cheek response and ended up advising the commentator’s to improve their trade if fans were liking his chattering more.
Pant in Hindi said, “Ab yeh mera compliment hai ya aapko thoda problem ho raha hai, toh improve karo aap log bhi.” (If this is a compliment for me and it?s creating a problem for you, then you guys should also look to improve).
Pant, over the past few months earned a lot of praise from his fans for his verbal antics behind the stumps. They range from singing songs to calling the bowlers with hilarious nicknames.

The 23-year-old who was dropped from the first Test against Australia in the recent India’s tour t0 Down Under and was reinstated in the second Test, has not looked back ever since. He has impressed everyone with his consistent performances with the bat, while improving his keeping all along. Due to his impressive run with the bat and wicket keeping, Pant kept the wickets in all four Test matches against England.
