Renowned Indian car designer Sudhakar Yadav has once again captivated the automotive world with his latest masterpiece, the Ram Mandir car, showcased at the Wacky Car Museum in Hyderabad. The vehicle, a customised Matador car adorned with intricate carvings, pays homage to the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya scheduled to take place today.
Measuring 22 feet in length and towering at 16 feet, the Ram Mandir car features meticulous details and symbolism. The vehicle, complete with a 10-foot flag, made its debut on Hyderabad’s streets on January 18 and is currently on display at the annual consumer exhibition Numaish until February 15.
Yadav’s two-year dedication to crafting this extraordinary vehicle is evident in the experience it offers to visitors at the Numaish exhibition. Situated in Bahadurpura, Hyderabad, the Wacky Car Museum, owned by Sudhakar Yadav, boasts a diverse collection of 60 rides. From cars shaped like burgers, cigarettes and footballs to a snooker table, the museum offers an eclectic mix of automotive artistry. Additionally, regular vehicles such as cycles, motorcycles, trains, and vintage cars add to the museum’s allure.
Yadav holds the Guinness World Record for the largest tricycle, boasting a wheel diameter of 5.18 meters (17 feet) and a length of 11.37 meters (37 feet 4 inches), with an overall height reaching 12.67 meters (41 feet 7 inches).
Demonstrating his penchant for breaking records, Yadav has also attempted another feat – crafting what he envisioned to be the world’s largest car. This stationary vehicle, inspired by the 1922 Ford Tourer, stands at 26 feet (8 meters) in height and stretches 50 feet in length, nearly twice the height of a London double-decker bus.
Earlier, Yadav created a Coronavirus-shaped one-seater car designed to raise awareness about the pandemic. The unique vehicle, featuring a 100cc engine and capable of traveling up to 40 km, took just ten days to create. Speaking to the Times of India, Sudhakar Yadav expressed his hope that these creative endeavors would help spread awareness and encourage people to stay indoors.
