It's Not Everyday You See Whales Photobomb Woman's Selfie
During a selfie session, a woman encountered two gigantic whales behind her that were captured on her cell phone’s camera.

While taking a photograph or recording a video on a cellphone, an individual must take note of appropriate lighting conditions, understand the correct angle, and learn a few poses. Even then, while some multimedia outputs come out superb, others go directly to the trash bin. But when nature offers to help, chances are your pictures and videos will almost always reap the desired results. Recently, a woman was able to tape perhaps the best video in the world, while enjoying a boat ride in the sea. Helping her in the endeavour was not any human, but a couple of gigantic whales, who made up for an amazing background view.

Dropped on Instagram, the now-viral clip captures the woman on a boat attempting to record a video. All of a sudden a couple of whales emerge from the blue waters behind her at a distance. The whales pop up from underneath, execute a dramatic spin and then disappear again. Witnessing the surreal event, the woman bursts out into surprised laughter, unable to control her excitement at the rare incident.

As the video progresses the woman offers a closer glimpse of the whales through her phone camera as they surface from the deep sea and roll over mightily. The stunning visuals accompanied by the woman’s heartfelt reaction were simply a treat to watch. “Best selfie in the world,” read the caption.

Social media users who came across the video reacted in the comments favourably. “Ohh my god that’s beauty of nature,” noted one individual. Another pointed out the right “timing” of taking a selfie and the whales joining in making a picture-perfect moment. A third internet user found the video to be “Incredible”.

The woman in the video is Oxana Fedorova, who fondly calls herself a “Dolphin girl”, underlining her love for the aquatic species. As per her Instagram bio, she is also a freediver and activist. The clip was originally posted by her.

Oxana Fedorova’s Instagram handle is a treasure trove of her interactions with dolphins and several campaigns related to Save Whales. Earlier, she also demanded immediate action for a group of orcas trapped in Japanese ice.
