Daring Rescue Of 12-Foot-Long Cobra In Karnataka Will Send Chills Down Your Spine
The video of the rescue operation of a massive 12-foot-long cobra has gone viral on the internet.

A massive 12-foot-long cobra was rescued and released into the forest by wildlife officials in Karnataka’s Agumbe earlier this week. The video of the rescue operation was shared on social media by Ajay Giri, field director at Agumbe Rainforest Research Station (ARRS). The footage quickly went viral, leaving viewers astonished.

According to the details provided in the caption, the enormous snake was first spotted by locals when it was crossing the road. The snake subsequently sought refuge on a tree within a house compound. Seeing this, the owner and the neighbours promptly alerted the forest department officials. Before arriving at the scene, the officials instructed the locals about the necessary precautions. What followed was an intense rescue operation.

The footage captures the giant cobra with a thick body who is hanging from a tree and keeping its face in the air with the hood spread. In the video, Ajay was seen drawing the attention of the snake towards him and carefully pulling it out from the bush. He and his team then gently secure the reptile in the bag. Following the capture, the officials conducted an onsite awareness program for the locals and distributed informative pamphlets.

The snake was later released into the wild in the presence of locals and in-charge forest department officials.

The footage, posted over four days ago, quickly gained significant traction online, racking up over 5 lakh views. The comment section was flooded with varied reactions from the social media users.
