Rajalakshmi Aggarwal, head of Ola Foundation and wife of Bhavish Aggarwal, Co-Founder and CEO of Ola Cabs, made a rare public appearance at Ola Electric’s listing ceremony at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) in Mumbai on Friday. Taking to the microblogging platform X, Bhavish posted a photo from the ceremony, capturing the couple in stunning traditional Indian ensembles. Bhavish was dressed in a black kurta pyjama, while his wife, Rajalakshmi, opted for a bright yellow saree.
Sharing the picture, Bhavish penned down a heartfelt note: “The importance of today, this moment is finally sinking in. It felt like a process till yesterday – where we did our work, put in our time and made India one of the largest EV 2W markets. Our hard work has paid off and the world recognises it.”
“But today it feels like an important duty, a responsibility to double down on our aspirations and to build the country of our dreams. To be dedicated and faithful custodians of public money and faith. Our destination is still far ahead and we didn’t come this far, to just come this far. Jai Hind,” he added.

Rajalakshmi also reposted her husband’s post. The couple, who reside in Bengaluru, had travelled to Mumbai for OLA Electric’s trading debut at the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
Reportedly, Bhavish and Rajalakshmi’s love story began when they were studying at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) back in 2007. While pursuing their engineering degrees, their relationship blossomed. After dating for nearly six years, the duo decided to take their relationship to the next level and tied the knot in early 2014.
This period was also significant for Bhavish, as his venture, Ola Cabs, which he co-founded, saw exceptional growth. Rajalakshmi, on the other hand, previously worked as an analyst and marketing manager at Ernst & Young and has been guiding Ola’s social service activities since 2016.
Bhavish had previously mentioned about his then-girlfriend, now wife, Rajalakshmi supported him financially during the early days of his startup. While Bhavish frequently makes headlines, his wife tends to stay out of the limelight and maintains a low profile.
