New Delhi: Lenovo has slashed the price of the Vibe S1 smartphone in India by Rs 3,000. The phone, which was launched in India late last year at Rs 15,999, is now available at Rs 12,999.
Targeted at selfie lovers, the Vibe S1 comes with two cameras at the front. As explained by the company, the 8 megapixel primary front camera takes the sharpest photos and the 2 megapixel secondary front camera analyses depth of field information to replicate human binocular vision.
The camera app is said to be loaded with a number of built-in photo editing tools.
The Vibe S1 features a 13 megapixel rear camera with a dual-color flash that optimises colour tones based on ambient lighting.
Measuring 5 inches, the phone has a thickness of 7.8 mm and weighs 132 grams.It has a full HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 atop for protection against scratches.
Powered by a 64-bit MediaTek octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM, the Lenovo Vibe S1 has an internal storage of 32 GB (with microSD card support for additional storage).
The dual-SIM 4G phone runs Android 5.0 (Lollipop) operating system.
Lenovo had first unveiled the phone back in September at IFA 2015.
