The new Snapdragon X Elite-powered AI laptops are gradually coming to the Indian market and HP is one of the first brands to announce its lineup.

HP is bringing its new AI PC lineup to the Indian market this week. The tech giant has rolled out its next-generation AI PCs, the HP OmniBook Xand HP EliteBook Ultra, which is available for pre-booking in the country. Both AI PCs are built on the latest ARM architecture, powered by the Snapdragon X Elite chipset processor with a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of 45 trillion operations per second (TOPS), supporting an array of AI features.

The company said that the HP EliteBook Ultra AI PC is built for enterprises, government departments, and public sector organisations, while the HP OmniBook X AI PC is designed for on-the-go professionals and freelancers. It further mentioned that these laptops will be the first devices to support the HP AI Companion for the management of on-device AI tools and performance optimisation.

HP EliteBook Ultra and OmniBook X AI PCs Price in India

The HP EliteBook Ultra AI PC will go on sale in the country for Rs 1,69,934, while the HP OmniBook X is priced at Rs 1,39,999. It will available across online and offline channels from HP and other brands.

HP EliteBook Ultra and OmniBook X AI PCs Specifications

The EliteBook Ultra AI PC is powered by a Snapdragon X Elite chip with 12 cores capped at 3.4GHz, paired with 16 GB RAM and 1TB SSD storage. The HP EliteBook Ultra also comes with a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU for managing AI tasks. It sports a 14-inch 2.2K IPS display with 300 nits’ peak brightness.

The laptop it weighs 1.34 kg and measures 31.29 x 22.35 x 0.84 cm. Other features include Bluetooth 5.2 support, dual stereo speakers and a 5-megapixel IR camera.

It also has the OmniBook X AI PC which is powered by a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD storage. It features a 14-inch 2.2K IPS display with micro-edge bezels and 300 nits peak brightness.

Moreover, both laptops enhance virtual interactions with AI features such as Spotlight and Auto Framing, ensuring extended battery life and efficient performance. Another feature is a dedicated Copilot key for quick access to Microsoft’s AI chatbot.EliteBook Ultra also features Wolf Pro Security Next Gen Antivirus (NGAV), which uses machine learning to protect the user against evolving threats.

The HP EliteBook Ultra and OmniBook X laptops feature the thinnest design in their section. The company claims to offer up to 26 hours of battery life, delivering improved power and ultra-mobility.
