With George Zhao (Honor Executive) confirming that the Honor View 20 should be expected some time in 2019, will be unveiled in Paris on January 22. The smartphone is expected to be Honor View 20 which is a successor of Honor View 10 that was launched in India earlier this year. The Chinese manufacturer has now started sending out invites for the China launch of the Honor V20 phone. The Honor View 20 will have a 48-megapixel camera, which could reignite the smartphone camera megapixel wars again.
The Honor View 20 might share some design elements with the View 10, which had a metal rear, although the bezels this time around are likely to be smaller. 2017's View also had a 5.99-inch screen, so the View 20’s screen will likely be at least that size. Some websites are reporting that the Honor View 20 will have three rear lenses, possibly a 16MP/24MP/16MP combo, but it's not clear where that site is getting its information from. It will come preinstalled with Android 9 Pie OS. The Kirin 980 chipset will be present under the hood of the device. There is no information available yet on the battery capacity of the smartphone.
Bloomberg has also reported that Huawei will soon launch a phone with a camera that can accurately judge distances between objects and create 3D models of them for use in augmented reality. The Honor V20 is expected to hit the Chinese markets with a starting price of 2,799 Yuan (around Rs 29,000).
