New Delhi: Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio Infocomm's 4G telecom services introduction at the #CelebratingJio event at the Reliance Corporate Park in Navi Mumbai, trended at the sixth position worldwide on Twitter on Sunday, a third-party data showed.
The hashtag #CelebratingJio trended at the No 1 position in India and Vietnam, No 2 in Austria, No 4 in Latvia and No 7 in the US.
It also trended at the highest positions in 40 cities.
The event, with Shah Rukh Khan and AR Rahman, was viewed by 150,000 employees in 1,100 locations across the world all together.
"Jio is not about technical brute force but to reimagine how to do things better. Jio is not about Reliance, it is about India and when it comes to India, I am an eternal optimist," Ambani said during his address.
The company has started offering 4G connections to its employees to test for possible glitches before they are offered to the general public.
Jio services are being offered to the employees from Monday, which was the 83rd birth anniversary of the group's late founder Dhirubhai Ambani. The company aims to rope in 100 million 4G subscribers in 2016-17.
