Senior BJP Leader Writes to PM Modi, Amit Shah Against Party's Barabanki MP Priyanka Rawat
Sundar Lal Dixit has accused Priyanka Rawat of misbehaving with officers and alleged that Rawat’s working style is causing a dent in the credibility of the party in the state.

Lucknow: Former BJP MLA from Haidergarh and a close aide of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Sundar Lal Dixit has complained against BJP MP from Barabanki Priyanka Rawat to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President Amit Shah, UP CM Yogi Adityanath and State BJP President Mahendra Nath Pandey.

Dixit has accused Rawat of misbehaving with officers and alleged that Rawat’s working style is causing a dent in the credibility of the party in the state.

In a letter addressed to PM Modi, Dixit has written that by appointing her father as her representative, Rawat bypassed the orders issued by PM Modi himself and it was only post-intervention that she changed her decision.

Dixit also wrote in his letter that Rawat made a mockery of the PM’s dream project of adopting a village as she has hardly visited her village.

“She (Rawat) is getting a palatial 20,000 sq ft bungalow built for herself. This again raises questions and dents the image of the party,” wrote Dixit.

The minister from Haidergarh has also complained about his female colleague’s behaviour with officers from upper caste as ‘very objectionable’.

Speaking to News18, he said, “Since the BJP government was formed, Priyanka Rawat is causing harm to the image of the party and has not done anything for the people. She wants to run a parallel organisation in Barabanki with her gang of criminals.”

The leader also claimed that he would hold a demonstration against Rawat at the district administration. “That will make it clear as to who is supporting her and who is supporting me,” added Dixit.

Recently, Barabanki MP Priyanka Rawat was in news for threatening SDM (Sirauli Gausour) Ajay Kumar Diwedi when he went to remove illegal encroachments on government land. “Barabanki mein jeena mushkil kar dungi (I will make it difficult for you to live in Barabanki),” screamed Rawat at the IAS trainee. The BJP MP has been in news earlier for misbehaving with government officials. Rawat has earlier been aggressive towards SSP Kunwar Singh and District Magistrate Akhilesh Tiwari.
