BJP had in its election manifesto said that it would work to contain Naxalism. Rajnath meeting officers from Naxal-hit state would be the first step in this regard.
New Delhi: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has called a meeting with the bureaucrats of Naxal-affected states on Friday. All the 10 Naxal-hit states including Telangana is expected to attend the meet. Sources say invitation has been send out to DGPs and chief secretaries.
The meeting will take place in the North Block.

The Home Ministry is likely to assure states of all the support from Center to fight Naxal challenge. Chhattisgarh had recently sought permission to use choppers for movements of armed troops.
