Lalu, Rabri and Tejaswi also shared the dais at an election meeting at Sonepur. Rabri Devi claimed the RJD-Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) combine was much ahead of the march for power in Bihar.
"I can't contest because of I am under aged. My mother has come for your blessings. Please ensure her victory," Tejaswi said to thunderous applause.
Prasad said he decided to field his wife from Sonepur on the advice of former MP Prabhunath Singh. "I am sure she will win both the seats with a huge margin of votes."

Rabri Devi, in her mid-50s, was the chief minister from 1997 to 2005 with the active support of Lalu Prasad, who was allegedly ruling the state on her behalf. She has been the first and the only woman chief minister of Bihar so far.
