New Delhi: 12:30 pm: The Lok Sabha has been adjourned for the day as the Opposition MPs shouted slogans in the House.
12:09 pm: An uproar continued in the Lok Sabha over the CAG report on coal blocks allocation. Meanwhile the Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm after the SC/ST Quota Bill was tabled in the House.
12 noon: The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha resume. Uproar in both Houses continues.
11:07 am: Both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha have been adjourned till 12 noon as BJP MPs continued to shout slogans demanding Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's resignation over the CAG report on coal blocks allocation.
The government is planning to introduce the SC/ST Quota Bill in the Rajya Sabha after the cabinet gave it a go-ahead on Tuesday.
The BJP, though, will not say whether they support or oppose the bill, their stand will remain ambiguous. Party sources say they do not want to be seen diluting their protest on corruption for an issue which is purely a BSP agenda.
