New Delhi: The Varanasi battle is the fight to watch out for in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. While the Congress is yet to decide on the candidate who will take on Bharatiya Janata Party Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal seems all set to fight him.
However, like the referendum on forming the Delhi government, this time again Kejriwal has decided to ask people whether he should contest from Varanasi. "I am also going to Varanasi to ask people whether I should be their candidate," Kejriwal said on Friday.
While Kejriwal's rally in Varanasi was scheduled for March 23, it has now been postponed to March 24.
Even as Kejriwal awaits people's approval, his party wants him to contest from Varanasi. AAP leaders Ashutosh and Sanjay Singh had earlier this month stated that the party wants Kejriwal to fight the Lok Sabha elections from Varanasi.
