Jharkhand: Another central minister shown black flags by JMM
The ruling JMM on Sunday observed "black day" as part of its continued protest against the hooting by BJP activists during CM Hemant Soren's speech.

Ranchi: Continuing their vow to protest any central minister's visit to Jharkhand, JMM activists showed black flags at Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh at Birsa Munda Chowk in Ranchi on Monday.

Singh, who is visiting the state in connection with an official function, was shown black flags by JMM activists when he was passing the route from Birsa Munda Airport. Monday's protest was peaceful unlike on Monday when rival activists clashed after JMM workers showed black flags at the convoy of Union Steel and Mines Minister Narendra Singh Tomar at Hinoo area.

The ruling JMM on Sunday observed "black day" as part of its continued protest against hooting of BJP activists among others when Chief Minister Hemant Soren was speaking in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his Ranchi rally in the Dhurwa area on August 21.

Singh will lay the foundation stone of a project in Ramgarh on Tuesday.
