Congressman Shashi Tharoor begins campaigning

Thiruvananthapuram: Former UN Under Secretary General Shashi Tharoor, the Congress candidate for the Lok Sabha polls from Thiruvananthapuram, on Friday launched his campaign.

Tharoor, who visited the DCC office here, was given a rousing reception where he held discussions with the office-bearers on the election campaign.

Tharoor had sought the blessings of veteran congress leader K Karunakaran at his residence here.
