Budget session of Parliament likely from July 7

New Delhi: The budget session of Parliament is likely to be convened from July 7 and may go on for a month. Sources said that the session may last till August 6.

The Union Cabinet may consider finalizing the schedule at its meeting on Wednesday. During the first week of the session, the pre-budget Economic Survey, the Railway Budget and the General Budget are expected to be presented in Parliament.

Both the budgets have to be cleared before July-end as the Votes-on Account taken before Lok Sabha elections will expire by July-end.
