Rahul Gandhi has asked all party MPs and ministers from the state the number of times they have visited their constituencies.

New Delhi: Ahead of the UP elections Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi has asked all party MPs and ministers from the state the number of times they have visited their constituencies.

Coal minister Sriprakash Jaiswal will now have to submit a fortnightly report to Rahul Gandhi on the MP's and ministers' visits to their constituencies, also ministers and mps have been made in charge of their areas in UP.

This order comes after Rahul pulled up the UP Congress saying he was the only one who visits UP regularly ahead of the crucial elections.

The seven-phase elections in Uttar Pradesh will be held on February 4, 8, 11, 15, 19, 23 and 28.
