The talks have the full support of the Assam government and the Union government has taken us into confidence, Gogoi said.
Silchar: Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Wednesday said the Centre has taken the state government in confidence during the ongoing negotiations with the banned United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA).
"There is no reason for concern. Although the state government is not a party to the negotiations between the Centre and the ULFA, the talks have the full support of the Assam government and the Union government has taken us into confidence," Gogoi said.
Gogoi is currently on a tour of the Barak Valley districts in south Assam.
