2014 elections will put an end to the mother-son government: Modi
"On May 16 the message will be clear. There will be a strong government led by the BJP," Modi said.

Ahmedabad: After casting his vote on Wednesday, BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi once again targeted Sonia Gandhi and her son Rahul saying that the 2014 Lok Sabha elections is an end of the mother-son government. "On May 16 the message will be clear. There will be a strong government led by the BJP. There is no confusion on that," he said.

He also hit out the Congress for its party leaders remarks that they could consider supporting Third Front after elections. "The Congress leaders are saying that they could support a Third Front government shows that the party has accepted its defeat," he said.

"The way the faith of people is being seen clearly indicates that the BJP will form the government post elections," he added.

Terming 2014 polls as the 'election of hope', Modi said, "This election is of faith, hope and development," Modi said. He urged voters to vote for a glorious future of India.

He also apologised for campaigning less in his home turf Gujarat. "I apologise to the people of Gujarat for giving only 18 hrs of campaigning in Gujarat. I have been lucky to be visiting maximum places across the nation in this election," he said.
