The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur will conduct the Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT-2023) on December 16. The exam is being held for professionals who want to apply for the institute’s Executive Master of Business Administration Programme (EMBA). The results of the exam will be declared by December 18. The programme will commence in July 2024. The last date for submitting the online application form is December 15 at the official website — iimkashipur.ac.in.
The Executive MBA (EMBA) is a specialised two-year post-graduate programme conducted during weekends at IIM Kashipur’s Dehradun Campus, exclusively designed for middle and senior-level professionals. Admission to the programme is based on the candidate’s overall performance in various parameters. The parameters include clearing either CAT or GMAT or marks obtained in the Executive Management Aptitude Test (EMAT) conducted by IIM Kashipur. Those who clear the EMAT will next be called for a personal interview round.

To be eligible to apply for the two-year IIM Kashipur EMAT 2023 course, candidates must have a minimum of three years of managerial, entrepreneurial, or professional experience after graduation. The EMBA programme by IIM Kashipur is equivalent in content and rigour to the regular MBA, the institute said. Participants who enrol in the programme will be eligible for the IIM Kashipur Alumni Status.

The programme will be conducted in a blended mode, including online and offline components. The programme further provides an opportunity for one week of International Immersion at the Martin J Whitman School of Management, Syracuse University, New York.
